What This Page Covers
You can review accounts, workout logging, goal management, history analysis, body metrics, Apple Health, Apple Watch, friend features, notifications, and the differences between Free and Pro.
Good Starting Points
Free-plan limits, how previous values work, Apple Health integration, Apple Watch support, and whether CSV export is available are the topics people most often check before purchase.
Accounts
Q. Do I need to create an account?
Yes. Please sign up with your email address or Apple ID on the sign-in screen.
Q. Does my profile photo sync across devices?
Profile photos are stored on the device, so they may not sync automatically to another device. If you want to use the same photo on a different device, set it again on that device.
Workout Logging
Q. How do previous values work?
When you select an exercise, the previous log appears. If you want to continue with the same content as last time, you can fill the previous values with one tap.
Q. How are frequent exercises chosen?
The app shows the top 5 most-used exercises from the last 7 days. The more often you repeat a fixed routine, the faster the next exercise selection becomes.
Q. What are Workout Templates?
A feature to save your frequently-used workout menus. Tap the template icon (top-left of the Workout screen) to load one. You can also log rest seconds and extra weight (e.g. dip belt) per set.
Q. Is there a daily logging limit?
On the free plan, you can log up to 10 exercise sessions per day and up to 20 sets per exercise per day. Pro removes the daily exercise-session cap and allows up to 150 sets per exercise per day.
Q. How many custom exercises can I create?
The free plan supports up to 10 custom exercises. Pro removes that limit.
Goal Management
Q. Can I change my weekly goal?
Yes. The weekly goal can be changed from 1 to 7 days per week, and you can review it together with your weekly streak.
Q. How do exercise-specific goals work?
For each exercise, you can set target weight, target reps, the step size for increases, the step size for decreases, and an optional deadline.
Q. What does the stall suggestion look at?
The app looks at the recent progress history for that exercise and shows an adjustment idea, such as lowering the weight and increasing reps, when progress toward the goal has stalled.
History & Analytics
Q. How much history is available on the free plan?
On the free plan, workout history is available for the latest 30 workout days, and body composition charts for the latest 30 days. Pro removes these limits.
Q. What can be exported to CSV?
On Pro, workout logs and body-composition records can be exported as CSV. You can choose all time, the last 90 days, or the last 30 days.
Body Records & Apple Health
Q. How does Apple Health integration work?
Weight and body fat can be written to Apple Health when you save a body record. Import is done manually from the body-record screen. Core app features remain available even if you do not grant permission.
Apple Watch
Q. What can I do from Apple Watch?
You can log sets from Apple Watch and reflect them in iPhone history. Context on the iPhone side, such as exercises and previous weights, is also shared.
Friends & Reactions
Q. How do I add friends?
You can add friends by searching for their Trero ID or scanning a QR code.
Q. Are reactions, block, and report available?
Yes. You can react to friends’ workouts. You can also block users you do not want to interact with and report inappropriate behavior.
Notifications
Q. What notifications does Trero use?
Trero uses notifications for rest-timer completion, a same-day 20:00 reminder when no workout has been logged, and a weekly summary every Monday at 09:00.
Q. Why are notifications not arriving?
Please check iPhone notification permissions. Focus mode and notification summary settings can also affect delivery.
Free / Pro
Q. What are the main Pro-only features?
The main added features are full history access, CSV export, the plate calculator, and estimated 1RM rank. Some items that have quantity limits on the free plan are also relaxed or removed on Pro.
Data Transfer & Deletion
Q. How do I delete my account?
Use the in-app account deletion option in Settings. Email and Apple accounts may require re-authentication before deletion. Deleted data cannot be restored.
