Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy ("this Policy") sets out how freetokyo ("we") handles user information within the mobile application "Hanro" ("this app").

1. Basic Policy

This app is designed with user privacy as the top priority, and in principle all data is processed only on the user's device. We do not transmit data to our servers, provide information to third parties, or use advertising or analytics SDKs.

2. Information We Collect

This app collects and uses the following information on-device to provide its features.

This information never leaves the device.

• Location: Automatically records driving distance during work hours and uses it for expense calculation.

Background location is also used to record driving distance from work start to end.

• Motion & Fitness: Detects vehicle movement to automatically estimate work start/end.

• Camera: Photographs receipts for automatic expense entry.

Captured images are processed on-device only.

• Notifications: Used to send reminders such as vehicle inspection deadlines and oil change timing.

• User-entered data: Delivery records, revenue, expenses, vehicle information, goals, tax settings, and other information entered directly by the user is stored in an on-device database.

3. iCloud Sync

If the user is signed in to iCloud on the device, the above data is synced solely within the user's own iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit Private Database (the app has no setting to turn syncing on or off). We never have access to this data.

4. On-device Text Recognition and Summaries

Receipt text recognition, reading amounts from earnings screenshots, and generating the monthly summary text use capabilities Apple provides on the device (Vision / Foundation Models). All of this processing completes entirely on the user's device and is never sent to external servers. Peak-time insights are statistics computed on the device from the user's own past records, and use no external data.

5. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not disclose user information to third parties except where required by law.

6. Tracking

This app does not track under App Tracking Transparency. We use no advertising identifiers (IDFA), analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking whatsoever.

7. Children's Information

This app is primarily intended for adult drivers who are business operators. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Data Deletion

Users can delete all on-device data by uninstalling this app via iOS Settings → General → iPhone Storage. Synced data in iCloud can be erased by deleting the app's data from iCloud settings.

9. Billing and the App Store

Subscription billing for this app is handled through Apple's App Store, and we never obtain payment information such as credit card details. This information is handled in accordance with Apple's privacy policy.

10. Changes to this Policy

The content of this Policy may change as needed. Material changes will be announced within the app or on the support page.
