Article 1: Definitions

App: Miawell (iOS). Developer: the individual or company developing and providing the app. User: anyone who downloads or uses the app. Content: data entered and saved by the user in the app (cat records, photos, etc.).

Article 2: Service Content

Miawell is designed primarily for cat owners and provides: cat health record entry and management (weight, food, litter box, water, memos); AI condition assessment (Core ML, on-device processing); trend graphs and alert features; behavioral improvement coaching program (premium feature); iCloud data sync (premium feature).

AI assessment results are reference information only and are NOT a substitute for veterinary diagnosis.

If you are concerned about your cat's health, consult a qualified veterinarian.

Article 3: Eligibility

This app is available to users aged 13 and over. Minors require parental consent. The app is provided in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service.

Article 4: Premium Plan and Billing

The premium plan is available monthly (¥190/month) or annually (¥1,500/year).

A 1-month free trial applies for the first subscription.

Purchases are made via Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's payment policy.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date in the App Store.

Refunds follow Apple's refund policy.

If a free trial is not cancelled, it converts to a paid plan.

Article 5: Prohibited Activities

Users must not: reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app; copy, redistribute, or sell the app without authorization; use the app for illegal purposes; infringe third-party rights; interfere with the app's normal operation.

Article 6: Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the app belong to the developer. These Terms grant the user a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app. Copyright in content entered by the user belongs to the user.

Article 7: Disclaimer

The app is provided as-is.

AI condition assessment is reference information only and is not a substitute for veterinary diagnosis; the developer is not responsible for actions taken based on assessment results.

The developer is not responsible for data loss or corruption; regular backups are recommended.

The developer is not liable for damages arising from use of or inability to use the app.

Article 8: Service Changes and Suspension

The developer may change, add, or remove features without prior notice. The service may be temporarily suspended for maintenance or technical reasons. The developer is not liable for any resulting damages.

Article 9: Changes to Terms

The developer reserves the right to change these Terms. Important changes will be announced in the app or on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Article 10: Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Japanese law. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive first-instance jurisdiction for disputes related to these Terms.
