Export a password-protected file from Encrypted Backup in Settings and import it on the new device. This feature is free.

Method-book progress at a glance

Beyer, Burgmüller 25, Czerny 30/40, Hanon, Sonatina Album, Burnam, and Gillock come built in. Tap a piece number to mark it passed and see how far each student has come on the progress bar. You can add your own method books too (1 on the free tier, unlimited with Pro).

Tuition tracking

A student-by-month grid: one tap records that the monthly tuition arrived. The number of unpaid students also appears on Home, so there is nothing to total up and nothing to forget.

Assigned pieces and lesson notes

Track assigned pieces and a history of what students have passed, including recital and competition repertoire. One line after each lesson is enough to pick up exactly where you left off.

Today's lessons

Open the app and today's and tomorrow's students are listed with their last note — everything you need in the seconds before a lesson.

Recital mode

For each recital or competition, plan who performs, what they play, and in what order. Drag to reorder, and track who has played on the day.

Most students are minors. Otolog has no server and no account. What you enter is stored only on your device and is never sent to the developer or any third party.

Lock and backup are free

App lock (Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode) and password-protected encrypted backup are included in the free version. Safety features shouldn't sit behind a paywall.
