Frequently asked questions
When does a pass get used up?
One session is deducted when you save a session. On the record screen, pick the pass to use and make sure "Use one session when saving" is on. Expired or fully used passes are never deducted, and the app tells you when that happens.
Can I undo a session that was deducted by mistake?
Deleting that session returns the one session to the pass. You can also edit the "Used" count directly on the pass.
How do I move to a new phone?
Go to Settings → "Export backup" and save the file somewhere your new phone can reach, such as iCloud Drive. On the new phone, install ToreKarte and use Settings → "Restore from backup" to pick that file. This feature is free.
What happens to my current data when I restore?
Restoring replaces all current data on that device with the backup's contents. It can't be undone, so confirm carefully in the dialog before proceeding.
I purchased Pro but don't have it / it disappeared after switching phones
Tap Settings → "Restore purchase". You need to be signed in with the same Apple Account used for the purchase.
What do I get for free?
Within the limits of 3 clients and 3 templates, you get session records, charts, passes, app lock, reminders, and backup. There's no limit on how many sessions you record.
Is this a subscription?
No. ToreKarte Pro is a one-time purchase. Nothing auto-renews.
Does it handle payments or collection?
No. Passes only record sessions left, expiry, and unpaid status. No payments are handled.
Is my clients' information safe?
What you enter is stored only on your device and is never sent to the developer or any third party. There's no account. Turn on the app lock (Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode) in Settings to require authentication when opening the app.
My PDF report has a watermark
Free previews carry a "SAMPLE" watermark. Sharing or saving without it is a ToreKarte Pro feature.
Is there an Apple Watch or iPad version?
Not currently — ToreKarte is iPhone only (iOS 18 or later).
I'm not getting reminders
Check Settings → "Permission". If it says "Not allowed", tap "Open iOS Settings" and enable notifications. Reminders arrive one hour before the next session.
