How do I take photos and create a PDF?
Create a project and tap it → tap the + button to add photos from camera or library → tap a photo to edit captions and handwritten annotations → tap Create PDF to generate the report.
Photo edits sometimes don't save
Tap the Save button at the top right of the photo editing screen before closing. Closing with the × button discards changes.
What can I do with the free version?
The free version allows up to 5 PDF exports per month, viewing the last 10 projects, and photo capture with annotations and voice captions. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited use.
How do I cancel Pro?
Go to iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Genbalog Pro → Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored only on your device. Nothing is sent to external servers. We recommend enabling iCloud Backup.
Can I transfer data when changing devices?
Restore from iCloud Backup or iTunes Backup to transfer data to a new device. For subscriptions, use Restore Purchases with the same Apple ID (available in Settings within the app).
How do I add a logo to PDFs?
Logo insertion is a Pro feature. Upgrade to Pro, then go to Settings → Company Info → set your logo image.
How do I switch the app language?
Go to Settings → Language and choose Japanese, English, or Follow System. The change takes effect immediately.
Voice captions are not being recognized
Go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Speech Recognition and allow Genbalog. Microphone access is also required. Try speaking clearly in a quiet environment.
The app crashes or is unstable
Force-close and restart the app. Updating iOS and the app to the latest versions may resolve the issue. Contact us if the problem persists.
