How do I start using for free?
Download IeKan from the App Store. No account registration is required. To use the family sharing feature, sign in to iCloud.
How do I invite family members?
Go to Settings → Invite Family to display a 6-character invitation code. Share it via LINE or a messaging app. Family members join by entering the code via Join with Invitation Code in the app.
How do I register a property?
Tap + in the top right of the home screen. Enter the property name, address, and year built. Free plan: 1 property; multiple properties require a premium plan.
I can't upload photos
The free plan allows up to 50 photos per property. Delete older photos or upgrade to premium for unlimited storage. Low device storage may also prevent uploads.
How does before/after comparison work?
On the photo timeline screen, select 2 photos to compare side by side. This helps you track changes over time such as exterior weathering or garden growth.
How do I delete a photo?
Long-press a photo on the timeline screen to see the delete menu. Deleted photos cannot be restored.
How do I use the seasonal checklists?
The checklist tab has preset templates for Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, and Monthly. Tap each checkbox to mark it complete. History is recorded for up to 24 sessions and viewable as a graph.
Can I add custom checklist items?
Yes. Tap the + button on the checklist screen. Free plan: up to 5 custom items; premium plan: unlimited.
OCR isn't reading well
Try: bright light (fluorescent ideal), adjust distance so the full document fits on screen, keep the document flat, hold the device steady. OCR-extracted text and dates are reference only — always verify yourself.
I've reached the monthly 3-scan limit
The free plan allows 3 document scans per month. The limit resets at the start of next month. Upgrade to premium for unlimited scans.
