1. Overview and Service Description

These Terms of Use govern the use of the IeKan app.

By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

IeKan is an iOS app for families living apart to jointly manage their family home.

Features: property management, photo timeline, seasonal maintenance checklists, document scanning, and family task sharing.

2. Conditions of Use

To use this service you must: own an Apple device running iOS 17 or later; be signed in to an Apple ID and iCloud account (required for family sharing); be aged 13 or over as required by the App Store; agree to all terms herein.

3. Accounts and Authentication

This app has no independent account system. All authentication is through Apple ID; data sync uses Apple CloudKit. You are responsible for all actions under your Apple ID. If you suspect unauthorized use, contact Apple Support immediately.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Plans: Free — 1 property, 50 photos, 3 scans/month, 2 family members.

Premium monthly — ¥240/month (auto-renewal).

Premium annual — ¥1,900/year (auto-renewal).

Family annual — ¥3,400/year (App Store Family Sharing, up to 6 accounts).

All purchases through App Store (Apple Inc.

).

Auto-renewals apply unless canceled at least 24 hours before period end.

To cancel: iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → IeKan.

Deleting the app does NOT cancel your subscription.

5. Prohibited Activities

You must not: use another person's property, photo, or document data without authorization; reverse-engineer or decompile the app; repurpose or sell data commercially; register false information to deceive others; interfere with service operation; violate laws or public order.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Copyright in content you register (photos, documents, memos) belongs to you.

You grant the developer a license to reproduce, store, and transmit content as necessary for service delivery.

UI, design, code, and brand elements (name, logo) are the developer's intellectual property and may not be copied without authorization.

7. Disclaimer

The developer is not responsible for: OCR accuracy (always verify extracted text yourself); checklist templates (reference only, not a substitute for professional inspection); data loss from Apple CloudKit outages; issues with Apple services (governed by Apple's terms).

This service is provided as-is without warranty of completeness, accuracy, or continuity.

8. Service Changes and Termination

The developer may add, change, or reduce features without prior notice. If the service is terminated, advance notice will be provided in-app where possible. Export your data via Settings → Backup before termination.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Japanese law. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive first-instance jurisdiction for disputes arising from this service.

10. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be revised as necessary. Significant changes will be notified in-app or on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, discontinue use of the service.
