Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using the iOS app "Khaylog" (the "App") provided by freetokyo ("we"). By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

1. Use

The App is a tool that supports keeping records of horse care, health, costs, pedigree, shows and breeding. You use the App at your own responsibility.

2. Charges (one-time purchase)

Some features of the App are unlocked through a one-time purchase of "Pro" (a single payment, not a subscription). Purchases are made through the App Store, and prices follow the App Store listing. You can restore purchases from within the App. Refunds follow the policies set by Apple.

3. A record-keeping tool (important)

The vaccination and deworming cycles, expected foaling dates and similar figures presented by the App are general guides only, and are not veterinary judgements, diagnoses, medication or breeding advice. Always consult a veterinarian for decisions about health and breeding. Cost summaries are general information, not tax or accounting advice.

4. Disclaimer

We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose of the App. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App. However, this does not apply in cases of our intent or gross negligence, in which case our liability shall be limited to the amount of the consideration you paid in relation to the App. Furthermore, where the limitation of liability is not permitted by law, we shall bear liability to the extent of the applicable law.

5. Data storage & backups

The App's data is stored on your device. We are not liable for data loss due to device failure, loss, deletion of the App or the like. We recommend regular backups (export).

6. Changes to the Terms

We may change these Terms as needed. The revised Terms take effect from the time they are posted on this page.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
