1. Scope

These terms govern your use of the iOS app “Kajimieru” (“the app”), provided by freetokyo (“the developer”). By using the app you agree to these terms.

2. What the app is

The app is a tool for taking stock of household tasks yourself and viewing the result as counts and percentages. The figures reflect what you entered. They do not judge whether a split is appropriate, and they do not rank the people involved. The app does not provide legal, medical, psychological or other professional advice.

3. Pricing

Core features are free. Additional features are unlocked by a one-time in-app purchase (non-consumable). There is no subscription. The price shown in the App Store applies. Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms.

4. Restoring purchases

Unlocked features can be restored on any device signed in with the same Apple ID using “Restore purchases”, available both in Settings and on the full-access screen.

5. Data storage and loss

Your entries are stored on your device only. The developer keeps no copy and therefore cannot recover data lost through device failure, loss, reset or app deletion. Use the app’s backup feature to export a file and keep it yourself.

6. Restrictions

Do not reverse-engineer, decompile or modify the app
Do not redistribute or resell the app or its bundled data
Do not use the app for unlawful purposes
Do not use the results to intimidate or berate another person

8. Changes and discontinuation

The developer may change the app or stop providing it. Data already stored on your device and features you have purchased remain usable on that device.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any dispute relating to the app.

Limitation of liability

Notwithstanding any other provision of these terms, Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, our liability for any damages arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app. Where such a limitation is not permitted by mandatory law, we are liable to the extent that law provides.
