Waqtain / وقتين
Plan the hours between prayers.
Waqtain shows the work time you actually have between the five daily prayers, and fits your meetings and tasks into it. Rather than adding productivity features to a prayer app, it replaces the timeline of a productivity app with prayer.
What it does
- Automatic work windows — rebuilt every day, with time for travel and wudu reserved around each prayer.
- Tasks split across prayers — long work that doesn't fit is cut at the prayer and placed either side of it.
- Meeting slots — lists only the open slots that don't cross a prayer.
- Calendar integration — lay events already in your iOS Calendar over your work windows, and optionally export prayer blocks to a dedicated calendar.
- Widget — time left until the next prayer and your current window, on the Home and Lock Screen.
- Jumu'ah and Ramadan — Friday is handled separately because its structure differs, and Ramadan shows suhoor, iftar and taraweeh.
About prayer times
Prayer times are estimates calculated on your device from your selected method and coordinates. Actual iqamah times vary by mosque and region. Please use your local mosque's announcement as the reference.
Eleven calculation methods are available — Umm al-Qura, Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait, Gulf Region, Muslim World League and others — along with a choice for Asr. This app does not designate any method as correct. Each prayer can be adjusted by minutes.
Privacy
This app does not connect to the internet. Your location and schedule are processed entirely on your device and are never transmitted. There is no account.
Calendar syncing (Google, Exchange and so on) is performed by iOS itself, not by this app.
Pricing
The core is free. Prayer times, notifications and the widget are free forever, with or without a purchase.
Waqtain Pro is a one-time purchase ($9.99) that unlocks unlimited tasks, week-long auto-scheduling, meeting slots, calendar export and backup. It is not a subscription.
