Prayer times differ from my local mosque by a few minutes

The times shown are calculated estimates, and actual iqamah times vary by mosque. Under Settings, “Fine-tune times” lets you shift each prayer by minutes to match your local mosque.

Which calculation method should I choose?

Choose the one used where you live — Umm al-Qura in Saudi Arabia, Dubai in the UAE, and the respective methods in Qatar and Kuwait. This app does not designate any method as correct.

I don't want to grant location access

You don't have to. Pick a city manually on first launch, or later from “Choose a city” in Settings. Every feature remains available.

Will exporting duplicate prayer events in my calendar?

No. Export is limited to a dedicated calendar named “Waqtain”, and each export rebuilds that period rather than adding to it. Your existing calendars are never written to. Turning the export off removes what was exported.

Some times are missing at high latitudes

At high latitudes there are days when the sun never reaches the angle the calculation requires, so Fajr and Isha are not mathematically defined. Rather than guessing, the app says the time cannot be calculated. Adjust manually in Settings, or try another method.

I bought Pro but the features are locked

Try “Restore purchase” on the paywall or in Settings. If you purchased with the same Apple ID, it will restore.

Can I move my data to a new device?

This app does not use iCloud sync. Use “Backup” in Settings to export your tasks and settings to a JSON file, then import it on the new device.
