Privacy policy

This page explains how Immulog ("the app") handles personal information and the content you enter. Because the app holds information about a child's health, it states plainly where that information is stored and whether it is ever sent anywhere.

What is collected

The app collects nothing. No name, e-mail address, device identifier, location or usage data is obtained. No analytics SDK and no advertising SDK are built in, so the developer has no means of knowing how the app is used.

Entering a child's name is optional. Every feature works with the name left blank.

Where data is stored

The app does not communicate. There is no sign-up, the developer has no server, and nothing is sent to the developer. Dates of birth, vaccination records, the country each vaccination was given in, and notes are stored only on your device.

If iCloud Backup is enabled on the device, this app's data is included in Apple's backup exactly like any other app's. That backup is handled by Apple, not by this app. To avoid losing a child's record at a device change, the app deliberately does not exclude its data from the backup.

Device features

The app does not use the camera, microphone, location, contacts, photo library or HealthKit. There are no photo attachments.

Notification permission is requested only when you turn reminders on in Settings. All notifications are local, assembled on the device, and nothing is transmitted.

Saving and sharing a PDF or a backup file goes through the standard iOS share sheet and file picker. You choose the destination; the app does not record what you chose. The backup file is plain and unencrypted. Please take care where you save or send it.

Purchases

Buying and restoring full access is handled by Apple through the App Store. The app only reads whether the purchase is active on the device and never receives payment details or Apple Account information. Information related to the purchase is handled under Apple's privacy policy.

Children's information

The app is intended to be used by a parent or guardian, not by a child. Information entered about a child is not transmitted off the device and cannot be read by anyone else, the developer included.

Exporting and deleting data

Exporting and importing a full backup file is free. Individual records can be deleted, and deleting a child's profile deletes all of that child's records (this cannot be undone; exporting a backup first is recommended). Deleting the app removes the data on the device.

Controller, contact and your rights

This app is provided by freetokyo, an independent developer, who acts as the data controller. For any question about this policy or about personal data, contact freetokyo2020@yahoo.co.jp. We normally reply within five business days.

If you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your personal data, to withdraw consent and to object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know, delete and correct the personal information collected about you, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information.

Where this app stores data only on your device, we have no access to it, so most of these rights are exercised directly on the device: delete or export inside the app, or delete the app. We will still answer any request you send us.

Retention: on-device data is kept until you delete it or remove the app. Support emails are deleted 24 months after the request is closed.
