Frequently asked questions
My country is not included.
Version 1.0 includes the United States, the United Kingdom and Japan. The list is short because each schedule's reuse terms were checked individually, and only the ones that could be confirmed are included. No country is in here on the strength of "probably open." Even without a schedule for your country, you can still enter every vaccination by hand, and recording, editing, export and backup all work. Only the difference view depends on choosing an included country.
Why by antigen rather than by product?
Because combination vaccines are put together differently in different countries. A record kept as a product name stops being readable the moment you move somewhere that product is not sold. Kept by antigen — by which disease the vaccination was against — the record still means the same thing. You can still enter by product; when you do, it is expanded into antigens by matching on the country and the date.
I picked a product and it says the composition cannot be identified.
The same trade name can contain different antigens in different countries or approval periods. When the combination of country and date does not resolve to one composition, the app does not guess — it asks you to choose the antigens yourself. The product label or the vaccination certificate will tell you.
Do I have to fill in the country it was given in?
Yes, it is required. Which country a vaccination was given in decides which antigens the product maps to and whether it was part of that country's routine schedule. It defaults to the country of residence at the time you create the record, so for vaccinations given at home you can leave it as it is.
It says "may be missing". Does that mean a vaccination is missing?
Not necessarily. It is the result of mechanically comparing the records you entered with that country's standard schedule. The app does not take account of gestational age, medical history, immune status or a clinician's individual instructions — and a record may simply not have been entered yet. Please check with a healthcare provider.
What does "discuss with a clinician" mean?
It marks vaccinations that a country's schedule treats as risk-based, or as a shared decision with a clinician. Folding those into "not in this schedule" would show something worth discussing as something out of scope, so they are kept as a separate state.
My baby was just born — won't almost everything say "may be missing"?
No. Antigens whose standard age has not been reached are shown as "not due yet", so nothing is presented as missing before its time.
How current are the schedules?
Each schedule screen shows its source, licence, data version and the date it was last checked. Six months after that date, the screen says the current version should be confirmed. A link to the official page is in the same place.
Which version of the US schedule is included?
A preliminary order of 16 March 2026 stayed the decision memo of 5 January 2026, so the July 2, 2025 schedule is the one CDC currently publishes. That is the version included, and the sequence of events is shown in the source panel. The app does not say which of them is right.
What is in the PDF?
The child's date of birth, the records (date, antigen, country where it was given), and the source, licence and reference date of the schedule. Every antigen is printed with its English name alongside, so a clinician abroad can read it and check where it came from. Including the name is optional; the date of birth is always included, because the age at each vaccination cannot be read without it.
I am changing device. Can I move the records?
Export a full backup file from Settings and import it on the new device. Both are free. Import adds to what is already there and never replaces or removes anything. A PDF is not a substitute for a backup.
Does it sync between iPhone and iPad?
No. The app does not communicate, so there is no automatic sync between devices. Use a backup file to move or share data.
Can I attach a photo of the record booklet?
No. Photo attachments are not implemented.
I bought full access but it is gone after changing device.
Try "Restore purchase" on the purchase screen or in Settings. You need to be signed in with the same Apple Account used for the purchase.
Is it a subscription?
No. It is one payment and nothing renews automatically. If further countries are added, there is no additional charge.
Do reminders tell me to vaccinate?
No. They tell you that a reference date on the standard schedule is coming up, and never instruct you to vaccinate. Notification permission is requested only when you turn reminders on in Settings.
What happens to the records if I delete a child's profile?
All of that child's records are deleted too, and it cannot be undone. Exporting a backup first is recommended. Deleting a single record can be undone right afterwards.
Can I change the display language?
Yes, in Settings. The default is your device's system language.
Some antigen names stay in English.
Antigen names are not machine-translated. A name is translated only where an official term could be found in a public source for that language; where it could not, the English name is shown. Official programme names and notes from each country are also shown in their original wording.
