Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of Netlit (the "app"). By using the app you agree to them.
Pricing and purchases
Net volume calculation, water-change calculation, dry salt dosing, dechlorinator calculation, logging, and backup and restore are free and not capped by number of entries.
The additional features — multiple tanks, multi-step water-change plans, accumulation rate and steady-state projection, unlimited registered liquid products, all-time charts, and CSV / PDF export — are unlocked by an auto-renewing subscription named "Netlit Premium". It is offered for a period of one month or one year, and the price per period is shown on the App Store and on the purchase screen inside the app.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you are charged for the renewal period. Cancel from Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions on your device. Purchases can be restored from the purchase screen and from the app's settings.
After cancelling, viewing, editing, deleting and backing up your records — and all the free calculations — continue to work.
Responsibility for your data
You are responsible for the content you enter. Because the app stores nothing outside your device, we recommend creating a backup file from settings in case the device is lost, damaged or replaced. CSV / PDF exports contain only part of your records and are not a substitute for a backup.
About the calculated results
The figures the app produces are general calculations based on the values you enter, not veterinary advice. Net volume is an approximation derived from your dimensions together with estimated values such as substrate porosity, and the real volume varies between products and individual setups.
Changing water and adding salts or fertilisers affects living animals. Measure your water and check on your livestock before acting, and make the final decision yourself. The app does not recommend any particular product.
Prohibited uses
- Modifying or decompiling the app
- Using the app for unlawful purposes
- Recording or distributing content that infringes the rights of others
Disclaimer
The developer is not liable for any damage arising from use of the app, including loss of livestock or deterioration of water quality. The app may be changed or discontinued without notice.

Limitation of liability (overriding)
Notwithstanding any other provision of these terms, Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, our liability for any damages arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app. Where such a limitation is not permitted by mandatory law, we are liable to the extent that law provides.
