Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Rosetare ("the app") handles personal information and the content you enter.

What is collected

The app collects nothing about you. No name, no email address, no device identifier, no usage data. There is no account, and nothing is sent to the developer, who operates no server of their own.

There are no advertising SDKs and no analytics SDKs in the app, so the developer has no means of learning how it is used.

Where your data is stored

Gardens, zones and plants, your product library, spray records, observations and settings are stored only on your device.

If iCloud Backup is enabled on your device, the app's data is included in Apple's backup just like any other app's. That backup is handled by Apple, not by the app.

Fetching weather (network use)

The app does use the network, for weather. Infection conditions are worked out from hourly temperature, relative humidity and rainfall, so the app sends your garden's latitude and longitude to Apple's WeatherKit and receives that location's weather in return.

That exchange is with Apple, not with the developer. The developer neither receives nor records it. Apple's handling of the request is governed by Apple's privacy policy. If you do not use the weather-driven screens (disease risk, risk notifications), the request never happens.

The hourly weather values that come back are stored only on your device, as the history the conditions are judged against.

Location

Sharing your location is optional. The app does not ask for location permission during onboarding. It asks only when you choose "use my current location" in settings.

If you decline, you can set your place by searching for a place name or by typing coordinates, and every feature — Premium included — behaves identically. The resulting coordinates are stored on your device and used only to fetch the weather described above.

Device features

The app does not use the camera, the microphone, your contacts or your photo library.

Notifications are requested only when you switch on "risk notifications" in settings. They are composed on your device and do not pass through any notification server.

CSV export goes through the standard iOS share sheet. You choose where the file goes; the app does not record that choice.

Purchases

Buying and restoring Rosetare Premium is handled by Apple's App Store. The app reads only whether the subscription is active, on the device. It never receives your payment details or Apple Account information. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Exporting and deleting

Settings offers a free CSV export of your spray history and a delete-everything option. Deleting the app removes its data from the device. Because the developer stores nothing on their side, there is nothing to ask the developer to delete.

Controller, contact and your rights

This app is provided by freetokyo, an independent developer, who acts as the data controller. For any question about this policy or about personal data, contact freetokyo2020@yahoo.co.jp. We normally reply within five business days.

If you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your personal data, to withdraw consent and to object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know, delete and correct the personal information collected about you, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information.

Where this app stores data only on your device, we have no access to it, so most of these rights are exercised directly on the device: delete or export inside the app, or delete the app. We will still answer any request you send us.

Retention: on-device data is kept until you delete it or remove the app. Support emails are deleted 24 months after the request is closed.
