Recording has no limit, even for free. What you pay for is exporting, syncing and automation.
One photo before you paint
Leather repair layers colour over what is already there, so the same mix gives a different result on a different base. Formulog puts “photograph it before you paint” as step one and always shows the base colour beside the finished colour. When a recipe has no base colour recorded, it says so plainly.
Keep the mix as it was
Pick a paint from your inventory and set the ratio with a stepper. Add as much or as little as you need: dilution, thinner, surface prep, abrasive grit, number of coats, drying time, temperature, humidity and the total amount you mixed.
Jobs and photos, kept together
Photos from before, during and after stay attached to the job, each with the time it was taken, so you can look back over the work. You can also export a before/after image side by side.
With the paints you already own
No manufacturer data is bundled. Register the paints you use, named however you refer to them. Mixes that cross brands are recorded as they are, and there is no limit on how many you register.
Find a similar colour, base included
Photograph the colour you want and Formulog looks through your records. Matching uses the base-and-result pair, not just the finished colour, and candidates with a different base are badged as such.
Work out amounts from a total
Enter the total you want to mix and the ratio is applied to each paint. Rounding never makes the parts add up to something other than the total.

Full access is available as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time purchase with no renewal. If you cancel, you can still view, edit and delete your records — only features like syncing and exporting stop.
Your data
Formulog does not send your data to our own servers. No account is required, and every feature works with no signal.
If you turn on sync, your data is stored in your own iCloud, where the developer cannot access it. Photo sync is off by default. Photo sync uses your own iCloud storage, so it stops when you run out of space.
No analytics or advertising SDK is included, so the developer has no way to see how you use the app.
Please note
This app is a tool for keeping your own records. It does not guarantee colour matching, repair outcomes, or any legal effect. Colour chips and colour difference values are reference figures that vary with the lighting when the photo was taken. Make the final colour judgement by eye.
The amount summary is an aid to your records, not an invoice or a bookkeeping record.
