Privacy Policy

This page explains how Formulog handles personal information and the content you enter.

What we collect

Formulog collects no information about you. No name, no email address, no device identifier, no usage data.

Where your data lives

Formulog does not send your data to our own servers. No account is required, and every feature works with no signal.

If you turn on sync, your data is stored in your own iCloud, where the developer cannot access it. Photo sync is off by default. Photo sync uses your own iCloud storage, so it stops when you run out of space.

No analytics or advertising SDK is included, so the developer has no way to see how you use the app.

Device features we use

  • Camera — to photograph your work and colour chips.
  • Photo library — to choose an image to keep as a work photo, or to save an exported before/after image.
  • Notifications — for drying timers and due-date reminders. These are local notifications assembled on your device.

All are optional. Recipes and jobs can be recorded without granting any of them. Location, contacts and the microphone are not used.

About your clients’ information

Information you enter about your clients is information you control as the business using this app. The developer neither receives nor stores it. Complying with the law that applies to you remains your responsibility.

For when a client asks you to remove their details, each job offers “Delete client details only” (erases the name and contact details while keeping the work record) separately from “Delete job completely”.

Exporting and deleting

From Settings you can export everything (photos included) and restore from it, export the ledger as CSV, and delete all data. Deleting the app also removes the data on your device.

Controller, contact and your rights

This app is provided by freetokyo, an independent developer, who acts as the data controller. For any question about this policy or about personal data, contact freetokyo2020@yahoo.co.jp. We normally reply within five business days.

If you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your personal data, to withdraw consent and to object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know, delete and correct the personal information collected about you, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information.

Where this app stores data only on your device, we have no access to it, so most of these rights are exercised directly on the device: delete or export inside the app, or delete the app. We will still answer any request you send us.

Retention: on-device data is kept until you delete it or remove the app. Support emails are deleted 24 months after the request is closed.
