The key handover log
Every key, lockbox, card and code you take: what it is, when you took it, whether anyone witnessed the handover, where you keep it, and when it goes back. The count sits at the top of the home screen at all times — including when it is zero, because a counter that hides at zero cannot be trusted at four.
Return dates
Set one and the home screen flags it once it passes. The reminder never names the client or the address.
A row can stand alone
Record a key taken before the client existed — or keep the row after a client is removed, when the key is still in your hands.
Unlimited on the free tier
The ledger has no cap. Capping it would mean a free user's count no longer matches what is in their bag.

Door codes stay hidden until Face ID says otherwise
Door codes, alarm steps and key locations are encrypted individually with a key held on this device, and decrypted only after Face ID or your passcode.
The field names stay visible while the values are hidden, so at the doorstep you can still tell whether a home uses a keypad or a lockbox. The values re-hide themselves after thirty seconds.

Where your data goes
Kartella Home makes no network requests. There is no server and no account. Three actions hand data to somewhere you choose:
Opening a map
The address goes to the system Maps app; from there it is Apple's app doing the work.
Sending a report
The PDF goes to whichever app you pick in the share sheet.
Saving a backup
The encrypted file goes wherever you save it.
That is the whole list. No analytics or advertising SDKs. The App Privacy declaration is "Data Not Collected".
New phones, and removing a client
A backup is one encrypted file and it includes the key ledger. The encryption key never leaves this device, so restoring a new phone from an iPhone or iCloud backup brings back everything except the door codes and key locations — this backup is the only way to move those. There is no recovery if you forget the passphrase, because a reset would need a server and this app does not have one.
A client can be removed in two stages: strip the name, address, contacts, photos and entry information while keeping your own work history, or erase everything. If you are still holding their keys, the app says so first — removing the name now would leave keys in a drawer with no way to learn whose door they open.

Free covers 10 clients, 3 photos per visit, 3 area photos per client and 3 checklists. The key ledger, the app lock, export, backup and the two-stage removal are unlimited at both tiers — anything that protects a client is never behind a purchase.
