Terms of Use

1. These terms

These terms govern your use of the iOS app Kartella Home, provided by freetokyo ("we"). By using the app you accept them.

2. What the app is

The app is a tool for storing, displaying and exporting the records you enter. The key handover log records the state of a handover. It does not prevent key loss and does not guarantee any insurance outcome. Ask your insurer about cover.

The app does not provide legal, insurance or tax advice.

3. Your data

The app makes no network requests and we never receive your data. See the privacy policy.

Looking after your data, including making backups, is your responsibility. We have no means of recovering data lost to a lost, broken or erased device.

4. Purchases

The core features are free. "Full access" is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase, not a subscription. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel.

Purchases are tied to your Apple Account. Refunds follow Apple's policy and are requested from Apple.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the app unlawfully, to infringe the rights of others, or reverse-engineer it.

6. Liability

We are not liable for loss arising from use of the app, except where caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

Where mandatory consumer law makes part of this section unenforceable, that part does not apply and the rest is unaffected.

7. Changes

We may change these terms; the version on this page applies from the moment it is published here.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, with the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
