Article 1: Definitions
App: CareHours iOS application. Developer: the individual or company developing and providing the app. User: anyone who downloads or uses the app. Content: data entered and saved by the user in the app (visit records, settings, etc.).
Article 2: Service Content
CareHours is designed primarily for registered home care helpers and provides: visit record entry and management; automatic salary calculation including late-night premium; monthly PDF report output (premium feature); iCloud data sync (premium feature).
Salary calculations provided by the app are reference values only.
Actual salary is determined by workplace rules and labor law.
Article 3: Eligibility
This app is available to users aged 13 and over. Minors require parental consent. The app is provided in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service.
Article 4: Premium Plan and Billing
The premium plan is available monthly (¥480/month) or annually (¥3,800/year).
Purchases are made via Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's payment policy.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date in the App Store.
Refunds follow Apple's refund policy.
If a free trial is not cancelled, it will convert to a paid plan.
Article 5: Prohibited Activities
Users must not: reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app; copy, redistribute, or sell the app without authorization; use the app for illegal purposes; infringe third-party rights; interfere with the app's normal operation; enter false information.
Article 6: Intellectual Property
Copyright, trademark, and all other intellectual property rights in the app belong to the developer. These Terms grant the user a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app and do not grant any other rights. Copyright in content entered by the user belongs to the user.
Article 7: Disclaimer
The app is provided as-is without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.
The accuracy or completeness of salary calculation results is not guaranteed; verify with your workplace or a professional.
The developer is not responsible for data loss or corruption; regular backups are recommended.
The developer is not liable for damages arising from use of or inability to use the app.
Article 8: Service Changes and Suspension
The developer may change, add, or remove features without prior notice. The service may be temporarily suspended for maintenance or technical reasons. The developer is not liable for any resulting damages.
Article 9: Changes to Terms
The developer reserves the right to change these Terms. Important changes will be announced in the app or on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Article 10: Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Japanese law. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive first-instance jurisdiction for disputes related to these Terms.
